HSC Geography Enrichment Day

4 June 2021

9:30 am - 12:30 pm

Faculty of Arts Precinct, Function Room, 25C Wally’s Walk

We would like to invite you to Macquarie University’s HSC Geography Enrichment Day for 2021.
The Geography Enrichment Day helps prepare students for the HSC Geography exam. During the event, which will be held in person and online, you will be informed about local and international case studies and insights from researchers who are working at the cutting edge of geography and planning in Australia. The material covered will be directly relevant to the geography curriculum and provide a useful resource for your exams.

You will hear from researchers who work in diverse areas, including human rights, environmental management, climate change, social housing, refugee camps, digital spaces, tourist studies, urban regeneration, Indigenous cultures, food, human-environment relations, and many more.

View the program.

While learning about the latest research in Geography and Planning to apply in your exams, you will also learn about studying at Macquarie, and hear more about career pathways in these fields.

The day costs $40 per person for on campus attendees and this will cover lunch and morning tea for the day.

For online attendees, registration is $20 to cover teaching and associated materials.
