Gender Equity Week

4 March 2019 - 8 March 2019

All Day

Conference Room D, Level 3, 18 Wally's Walk

Macquarie University’s second Gender Equity Week will take place from 4 – 8 March 2019. In the lead up to International Women’s Day, an exciting week-long program of events will be held to celebrate our University’s progress towards gender equity and inspire the next steps on our journey to create a truly equitable and inclusive culture for all at Macquarie.

Since the launch of the Workplace Gender Equity Strategy in 2017, the University community has come together to create the foundation for real and sustainable change on gender equality. Our innovative approach to ‘fix the system’ is having an impact, and there are many success stories to tell. We are now planning for 2019 and beyond, and encouraging everyone across the University to contribute ideas and opportunities to build on the work so far, and maximise our progress towards a culture of equity and inclusion.
