Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community, and can increase your level of wellbeing. Macquarie University actively supports community volunteering by providing up to 2 days volunteering leave for continuing full time and part-time staff (pro-rata) to contribute to community-based non-profit organisations, charitable groups and groups in need of assistance. Students are supported in their volunteering efforts through many programs, such as PACE, GLP, Bushcare@MQ.

Get involved

Taking time out from work with your team to volunteer for a worthy charity organisation is fun and rewarding. It is a great way to bond with your colleagues, learn new skills and it also provides a sense of personal satisfaction.

Be supported by Macquarie University in your volunteering efforts by getting involved with PACE, the Global Leadership Program or Bushcare@MQ.
