The Office of the Executive Director, Student Engagement and Registrar sits within the DVC(A) portfolio, has carriage of the Macquarie Student Success Strategic Framework, and proactively supports the academic, personal, social and professional success of students from admission to graduation.

The functional areas are:

 

Student Life - maintain an engaging student experience and services that promote a sense of belonging, wellbeing, accessibility, retention and success. Student Life includes the following areas: Careers and Employment Service, Student Engagement, Student Wellbeing, Student Diversity and Inclusion, Graduations and Chaplains

Student Administration

Student Administration - maintain an integrated service delivery model that supports comprehensive and connected services, and information for students throughout their lifecycle, including knowledge management, frontline services, and communication. Student Administration includes the following areas: Admissions, Scholarships, Lifecycle, Exams, Student Advocacy, Curriculum and Planning, and Student Connect

Student and Academic Business Transformation

Student and Academic Business Transformation - deliver major organisational change to support student success and academic administration through the provision of strategic business advice, staff leadership, process re-engineering and systems implementation projects. The following areas are included: Student Curriculum Implementation Project (student migration),Change Management, Program and Project Communications and Curriculum Management (BAU).

Student Systems Transformation

Student Systems Transformation - maintain, upgrade, replace and integrate systems that enable effective administration, outstanding service delivery, smooth curriculum implementation and contribute to overall student success and experience. The following areas are included: Program Beacon, Student Management System – Upgrade, Curriculum Management System Implementation and remediation of systems to support curriculum implementation, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Implementation.

Governance Services

Governance Services - oversight for the University’s student and academic governance. Governance Services includes Secretariat Services, Policy, Quality Assurance and Compliance, Student Grievance and Discipline and Academic Appeals.
