What we do

Archives and Records Management manages the University Archives as well as the University's administrative, staff and student files. Records are in both physical and electronic format.

Archives and Records Management services include:

  • Maintenance of Macquarie University's Corporate Records
  • Maintenance of Macquarie University's Vital Records
  • Maintenance of Macquarie University's offsite records
  • Providing a search service of Macquarie University's records
  • Electronic Document Management
  • Providing advice on records management, description and storage
  • Providing advice on compliance with recordkeeping legislation
  • Providing advice on the retention and disposal of records
  • Providing access to University archives for bona fide researchers
