Research seminars

There are seminars run by different Research Groups in Computing or Research Groups collaborating with Computing.

Cognitive Science Seminar Series

The Cognitive Science Department hosts a seminar series in which Cognitive Science staff members, Cognitive Science students and visiting academics present research relevant to the research focus of the Centre. Seminars are usually held in the CCD Seminar Room (Australian Hearing Hub, Level 3 Room 610) and are open to interested researchers and professionals.

VISOR (Virtual and Interactive Simulations of Reality)

A multi departmental research group that belongs to the Department of Computing, in the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Macquarie University, Sydney. It’s main focus is Human Computer Interaction, particularly the design and development of ubiquitous interfaces using virtual reality, computer graphics, computer games, and interactive storytelling. One of the application areas for these interfaces is training simulations.

Higher Degree Research Seminars

Seminars given by current Computing Higher Degree Research student’s in the Department of Computing.
