Fees and scholarships

Fees and cost

Macquarie University is committed to making the Macquarie MD accessible to students through a generous scholarship program.

Tuition fees

Students enrolled in the program will either pay Australian tuition fees (domestic students) or international tuition fees. Neither Australian nor international tuition fees are subsidised by the Australian Government. Domestic students may be eligible for FEE-HELP to assist with payment of their tuition fees.

The University's tuition fee for Australian and international fee-paying postgraduate students is subject to annual review, and will increase each year of your period of study.

Visit Scholarships and financial support for information on sources of support and financial assistance.

International

Indicative annual fee – AU$70,000 (inclusive of most travel and accommodation costs for clinical placements in Hyderabad, India, in Year 3).

The indicative 2018 annual fee displayed is based on completing a standard full-time study load. Fees may increase each year. For courses longer than one year in duration, you will pay the fee that is current for the year that you enrol.
