Macquarie University was proud to host the 2018 Gender, Work and Organisation (GWO) conference in Sydney, Australia.
The conference ran from Wednesday June 13 – Saturday June 16, 2018 at the Hyatt Regency, Sydney and was organised primarily as a series of streams, which provided an international forum for debate and analysis of contemporary debates affecting gender studies.
The GWO2018 Sydney conference was organised by Professor Alison Pullen, Joint Editor-in-Chief Gender, Work and Organization and Professor of Management and Organization Studies at Macquarie University together with Professor Anne Ross-Smith, Associate Dean - Curriculum and Quality Assurance - Faculty of Business and Economics at Macquarie University.
GWO2018 offered an opportunity for participants to network and share professional knowledge and research over the course of four days in the heart of Sydney. The conference highlighted diverse geographical gender research and the most current information from around the globe through individual presentations from various streams and group networking sessions.
To coincide with the GWO conference, Professor Anne Ross-Smith from Faculty of Business and Economics comments on progress around women on Australian boards.
