Discovery delight as FBE Researchers awarded ARC Grants
Researchers in the Faculty of Business and Economics awarded more than $1.4 million in Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Projects funding to undertake research to benefit our environment, health, housing and the ageing migrant community.
The Discovery Projects scheme provides funding for research projects that can be undertaken by individual researchers or research teams. The objectives of the scheme include: supporting excellent basic and applied research by individuals and teams; encouraging high-quality research; enhancing international collaborations in research and expanding Australia’s knowledge base and research capabilities.
Three FBE researchers received ARC Discovery Early Career Researcher Award (DECRA) grants totaling more than $1.1 million, including Dr Lyla Zhang to investigate how time constraints can impair the quality of decisions in health, resulting in serious medical and financial consequences.
