Macquarie University Awards for Learning and Teaching
Vice-Chancellor's Awards
The Vice-Chancellor's Awards provide incentives and rewards for excellence in learning and teaching. Macquarie's Awards are modelled on those of the Australian Learning and Teaching Council (ALTC) and align with ALTC timeframes.
There are four types of Awards:
Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Programs that Enhance Learning:

Vice-Chancellor's Awards for Teaching Excellence:

Learning and Teaching Fellowships
Each year two Fellowships will also be awarded. Fellowships will be awarded to University academic staff for a semester. The aim of the Fellowship Scheme is to advance learning and teaching at Macquarie by supporting leading educators to undertake strategic activities in areas that support implementation of the Learning and Teaching Plan 2008-2012:
Applications for 2008 Learning and Teaching Awards and 2009 Learning and Teaching Fellowships are due on the 14th November 2008. The Vice-Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Higher Degree Research Supervision will close on Friday 21st November 2008. Please send 7 copies of all Award applications to:
