2008 Photography Competition Result

After extensive consideration, the judging committee of the MUPRA 2008 Photo Competition wanted to commend all entries for their extremely high standard this year. This made deciding on a winner very difficult. However, the committee has determined that the winner is: Blue beyond by Sara Wienand.

The committee also would like to award two honourable mentions:
Alpine reed by Daniel Falster, and
The magic of the Minangkahau people by Paul Mason.

MUPRA would like to thank all entrants in the competition.

Role of MUPRA on campus

As with any institution this size, there is more going on at Macquarie than one person could ever possibly hope to keep track of (unless that’s your job and you live in the Vice-Chancellor’s abode). That’s why we have a representative association, MUPRA, to help make sense of it all. Our role on campus is to seek ways to involve and connect the postgraduate community, whether through discussing issues affecting our study, by providing opportunities for socializing, or simply by helping you navigate through the bureaucracy.

Phil Betts
MUPRA President
