The ARC Centre for Excellence in Cognition and its Disorders

The CCD builds on the rich and impressive history of cognitive science research at Macquarie University. In 2010, Distinguished Professors Stephen Crain and Professors Anne Castles and Max Coltheart, from Macquarie University, Professor John Hodges from the University of New South Wales and Professor Gillian Rhodesfrom the University of Western Australia proposed a new ARC funded Centre, the  ARC Centre for Excellence in Cognition and its Disorders.

The Perception in Action Research Centre

PARC is a Faculty Research Centre of the Faculty of Human Sciences at Macquarie University. The centre is headed by Associate Professor Matthew FinkbeinerAssociate Professor Anina Rich, and Professor Mark Williams, and bridges the Departments of Cognitive Science and Psychology. It encompasses the Department of Cognitive Science' Perception in Action research group, and has links with the CCD.
