Aligning experiences for pathway students

With the commencement of the new College Director Jake Garman earlier this year, work on the establishment of the University’s new pathway college has stepped up.

“It is a privilege to be leading the development of Macquarie’s new pathway college with the support of the University community, and in such beautiful surroundings,” said Jake.

Jake explains the large number of staff involved from across the University in the early development phase of the project, means the College, and ultimately its students, will be integrated into the operations, culture and academic life of Macquarie.

“Macquarie University’s innovative approaches to learning and teaching and its life-transforming student experience will inform the development of the College’s new pathway programs,” said Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) Professor John Simons.

Jake says a number of program development opportunities are now available within the project.

“Look out for further opportunities, teaching and professional, over the coming months if you are interested in being a part of this important initiative,” he said.
