Fifteen of our academics were honoured at a special luncheon with the Vice-Chancellor last week in celebration of their success during the 2014 June round of academic promotions.
“Lunch with our newly promoted academic staff is always an enlightening and educational experience for me,” said Vice-Chancellor Professor S Bruce Dowton. “Each time I come away inspired by their dedication and enthusiasm, and the sheer pleasure they take in their work.”
Academic promotions are an opportunity to recognise and reward our staff who have demonstrated and sustained excellence in the three elements of academic endeavour – teaching, research and community engagement.
