Congratulations to Gumnut Cottage on receiving an Exceeding the National Quality Standards rating, joining Banksia Cottage and Mia-Mia at the highest ranking the Department of Education and Communities awards to early childhood education and care services.
Children, staff and families at Banksia Cottage are now also enjoying an exciting new playground, which supports the centre’s aim to provide a natural, sustainable environment. The design incorporates features of some of the trees on the site which encourages children to explore and engage and play in diverse and creative ways.
