Volunteer as a HAWC and help our students soar

Health and Wellbeing Collaboration (HAWC) volunteers work with students so they can take their learning beyond the classroom and apply it in the real world. Interested?

The HAWC program is a clinical placement our students undertake, that complements their classroom learning, with volunteers from the community. The volunteers, or HAWCs, are people who volunteer to allow our students to visit them periodically. Anyone can be a HAWC and they need people of all ages.

Become a volunteer today.

  1. This article links to https://www.mq.edu.au/about/about-the-university/faculties-and-departments/faculty-of-medicine-and-health-sciences/departments-and-centres/department-of-health-professions/engage-with-us but in that document, the PDF expression of interest for Adult Volunteers (http://www.mq.edu.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0004/189895/HAWC-Adult-EOI-Template_June-2016.pdf) does not exist or URL is incorrect. The PDF expression of interest for Paediatric Volunteers links to the Adult Volunteers link which does not exist or URL is incorrect. It would be good if these are corrected.
