A situational approach to leadership (for managers and people leaders)
** Almost full **
Four 2.5 hour modules over four weeks, commencing 3 November
Situational leaders are adaptable, giving their team members a balance of direction and support, as and when they need it.
In this workshop series, we will explore Ken Blanchard’s SLII® model, from which we explore the skills of:
- goal setting
- diagnosing a team member’s development level for particular tasks or goals, and
- increasing our leadership flexibility by aligning four different leadership styles to our team member’s needs
By the end of the program, you will have a practical toolkit to help you, as a people-leader, to offer your team members the right balance of clarity and direction as well as guidance, support and autonomy. As an added bonus, you’ll have the opportunity to meet more people-leader colleagues across our campus.

- Refresh core communication skills including active listening and questioning techniques
- Build effectiveness in communicating clearly, confidently and assertively with others
- Improve your confidence and effectiveness in communicating with others
