Australian Awards for University Teaching: applications open

Macquarie has had ongoing success with these national awards – is 2022 your year to be recognised alongside our top educators?

As an institution, Macquarie can submit a limited number of submissions for each of the following AAUT categories:

  • Citations for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning
  • Awards for Programs that Enhance Learning
  • Awards for Teaching Excellence

Please review the eligibility criteria and submit an Expression of Interest by 17 June 2022.

Interested in applying? Here’s how the process will work:
  • Nominees must ensure they meet the AAUT eligibility requirements prior to submitting an Expressions of Interest (EOI)
  • EOIs are now open – if you meet the AAUT criteria, please submit the EOI application form by 17 June 2022
  • EOIs will be reviewed and endorsed at the faculty level
  • Endorsed nominees will be invited to progress to the application phase, with final applications submitted by the Office of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Learning and Teaching)

All AAUT award information including eligibility, submission guidelines and key dates can be found on the AAUT website.

The Office of PVC (Learning and Teaching), on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, will register and submit all endorsed submissions by the deadline of 16 September 2022. For further information or advice, contact the Learning and Teaching Operations Team:
