Procurement Town Hall – Monday, 26 November

Natalie Budovsky, Group Director Strategic Procurement, invites staff to Finance’s second Procurement Town Hall:

“At our first Town Hall in May, I shared with you my views on what good procurement looks like. I gave you my thoughts on what we may expect as we commence building University-wide procurement capability and practices. I invited you to be part of this journey. I am happy to report that many of you have embraced this invitation with gusto.

While we are yet to fully launch the new Procurement Policy and processes, many of you have already experienced what’s to come. The new procurement world is being developed in recognition of the need for timeliness, flexibility, simplicity and the added value from your relationships with suppliers. The new policy is as simple as possible given the constraints of the operating environment and the probity, governance and risk principles under which we conduct our business. The new processes provide guidance on assembling the right structure, tools and capabilities to ensure the responsibility for the different elements of procurement is vested with the right people.

At this Town Hall we will share what we have achieved together so far. We will give you a taste of how your procurement journey will look in the future. And… we will give you a teaser on what your real journeys will look like, with a preview of what’s to come in the world of University travel.

We hope to see you all there. Please feel free to extend this invitation to your broader teams.”
