Reset your PageUp password via our jobs website

As flagged in an MQ Announcement email to staff last week, Macquarie University’s jobs website provider PageUp has notified the University of a potential security breach of its systems. The jobs site is used by individuals to apply for jobs at Macquarie University. While the scope has not yet been determined and an investigation by PageUp is ongoing, as a precaution we recommend that staff perform a password reset on the Macquarie University Jobs Website.

Please note that this affects the Jobs Website ONLY. It’s likely that you have initially registered with a personal email address, but it’s possible that you have also registered with your MQ email address. There is no requirement to reset your OneID unless you used your OneID password when you registered with the Jobs Website.

A reset can be completed by visiting jobs.mq.edu.au and selecting “Existing applicant login” and by clicking on the “Don’t know your password?” link in the login page. If an account does not exist, you will not receive a password reset email.

If you believe you have used the same Jobs Website password on other websites, a password reset is also recommended for these accounts.
For more information or to report suspicious activity please contact the IT Service Desk on 02 9850 HELP (4357) Opt 2, or email onehelp@mq.edu.au.
