Macquarie University is replacing the e3 Travel Booking system that is currently used for domestic bookings with a more user-friendly and efficient tool – The Concur Travel Booking System.

Finance Shared Services has been working closely with both Campus Travel and Concur to ensure that the system’s design meets the requirements of Macquarie travelers and travel bookers.

The Concur Travel Booking System will be available to travel booking staff from Monday 13 November 2017 (dependent on final UAT and following extensive training sessions).

Shut down of the e3 Travel Booking tool is scheduled for Wednesday 8 November 2017.

Note that this change is for domestic travel only.

Why is this change occurring?

The current e3 Travel Booking tool is unsupported and due to system enhancements at Campus Travel will be turned off as of 31 December 2017.

What are the benefits of Concur Travel Booking System:

• improved travel workflow including advanced accommodation search parameters and map functionality
• improved expense reconciliation workflow and tax invoice delivery
• easy access and ability to update traveler profiles – this is available to all staff
• existing Concur username and password can be used
