The eastern entrance to the West 3 carpark, located on Western Road, is now closed. Access to the carpark is still available via the Balaclava Road entrance to the south west of the site and the Link Road entrance on the north east corner of the site. Signage directs traffic entering the area from University Avenue.

Western Road is still accessible to pedestrians, however, new footpath arrangements have been implemented in order to ensure the safety of individuals using the route. Signage clearly marks out the new arrangements.

This closure allows for the segregation of non-construction traffic from construction traffic, which will increase as work commences on the delivery of the new Arts Precinct. The entrance will re-open once these Campus Development Plan works are completed.
