Overview

Rapid technological change has created a skills gap that our Master of Science can help you fill. This multidisciplinary degree joins the dots between leadership, innovation and entrepreneurship, so students will learn to develop innovative and practical ideas and how to commercialise them.

You’ll be taught by entrepreneurs, science leaders and world-renowned researchers. A critical part of the course is an internship in a professional environment. It could be in a research and development organisation, a world-leading academic research lab, a commercial enterprise or indeed your own science start-up. The aim is for you to observe real-word scientific innovation in practice to help you get a foot in the door of the industry you see yourself working in.

Testimonial

Marcel Julliard
Master of Science with a specialisation in Chemical and Biomolecular Sciences Innovation

I found the Master of Science at Macquarie incorporated a lot of what I'd done in the past in one great combination. I came to explore not only the sciences but how to practically use these sciences in industry, which was the main driver for me choosing this course. There's also a lot of innovation going on at Macquarie, so it seemed like a natural choice.
