Research and teaching excellence stories

The Partnership Centre for Health System Sustainability at AIHI, Macquarie University is investigating ways to improve value and sustain the performance of Australia’s healthcare system. This is a unique research collaboration between leading academics and system partners representing policy-makers, health service providers, insurers and patients.

Seventeen investigators will collaborate with system partners over the next five years to develop a set of implementable interventions that are appropriate from a clinical, patient and economic perspective. Funded by the National Health and Medical Research Council and four industry partners, the Centre brings together experts from the public, private and non-government sectors.
