Macquarie University Dunmore Lang College Regional and Rural Scholarship and Dunmore Lang College Indigenous Incentive Scholarship is a fully funded standard room at Dunmore Lang College (DLC).

Duration

The scholarship is renewable for up to four years of undergraduate study, subject to ongoing eligibility criteria.

2020 applications open on Friday 16th August 2019 and close on Sunday 5th January 2020.

Eligibility

The Macquarie University Dunmore Lang College Regional and Rural Scholarship was created in recognition of the initial and ongoing costs of relocating from regional and rural Australia to study at Macquarie University.

In addition to demonstrating that an applicant is relocating from regional or rural Australia, successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:

  • Financial need
  • Capacity to overcome adversity
  • Leadership qualities or leadership potential
  • Commitment to community service and extra-curricular activities
  • That they are or will be an undergraduate domestic student at Macquarie University having not studied at University before

Please note: applicants' permanent residence postcode will be used in the first instance to assess whether they are relocating from a regional or remote area.

Applicants should also lodge an application to live at Dunmore Lang College
