The Nanyang Technological University (NTU) is an autonomous university in Singapore offering publicly-funded degree programmes. NTU is consistently ranked amongst the world's best universities in all of the major college and university rankings and is regarded as one of the top 3 universities in Asia. In the 2016 QS World University Rankings, NTU was ranked 13th in the world and 2nd in Asia.
The university has 10 Nobel laureates and a Fields Medalist on its panel of international advisers. NTU is comprehensive and research-intensive university, with over 33,000 undergraduate and postgraduate students. The University is organized into 8 colleges and schools. They are the College of Engineering, the College of Science, the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences, the Nanyang Business School, and the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine - set up jointly with Imperial College London. NTU is also home to several autonomous institutions including the National Institute of Education, S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies, Interdisciplinary Graduate School, Earth Observatory of Singapore, Singapore Centre on Environmental Life Sciences Engineering, Institute on Asian Consumer Insight, and the College of Professional and Continuing Education.

Course Details: GEM Trailblazer Short Term Summer Programme will be offering 5 tracks in 2017 with new modules coming up in Track 3, 4 and 5. Students may take a maximum of 2 courses within a track or cross tracks. However, students need to check the course schedule to prevent any clashes between the courses. Information on the course schedule will be available soon by Dec 2016. For more information please refer to this website. Please be advised that this is a fee-paying program, students need to pay the program fee under the instruction of the host university.

To be eligible for this program, you must:
- A cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher (varies each program),
- Completion of at least 12cp at the time of application. 18cp to go abroad, Enough credit points remaining to complete the program,

Application Fee and Payment Options: For all exchange programs (semester and short term), there is a compulsory application fee. For more information and payment options please refer to the Cost and Funding Website.
Logistics Fees: Airfare: subject to change depending on time of booking. Students should not book until they receive official acceptance from NTU
Insurance: It is a requirement of the exchange program that all students must purchase their own travel insurance to cover them for the duration of their entire journey overseas. More information will be given to students upon acceptance.
Program Costs: This is a fee-paying program, all students must pay the program fee under the instruction of the host university. Additionally, you must also always be prepared for unexpected expenses, and should consider how you will be dealing with the expenses of your exchange before you leave your home country. Prior to departure, you will need to save sufficient funds to cover all of your expenses for the duration of your exchange. Some costs to consider include: airfares, students visa (if required), travel health insurance, accommodation, food, additional travel, entertainment, textbooks, incidental expense. If you wish to work while you are away, it is important to note that work rights for international students vary from country to country. For further information about your visa restrictions please contact the consulate or embassy of your host country.
