Sciences Po Toulouse (Semester Exchange)
Sciences Po Toulouse is one of the 10 Institutes of Political Studies of France.
In 2016, Sciences Po Toulouse wrote a part of the five-year contract linking the Federal University of Toulouse to the State. The result of a negotiation between the school and its parent ministry, this specific section sets out the school's strategic objectives and sets milestones for the 2016-2020 period.
It focuses on openness in all its aspects:
- openness to the multidisciplinarity of the social sciences of politics in training and research laboratories (economics and social sciences of politics);
- international openness ;
- opening to the City and the territories via the animation of the public debate, the relay of the scientific culture, the insertion in the Toulouse site with collaborations in matters of formation, the implication within the Federal University of Toulouse and within the IEP network, as well as by developing partnerships with the socio-economic community;
- social openness to diversity with an active policy of equal opportunities and anti-discrimination at all levels;
- opening to a professional piloting via the development of a quality approach.

Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for this program, you must meet the following:
- Macquarie Abroad General Eligibility Criteria
- Nomination from Macquarie University
- English language proficiency for non-native speakers
- Review the course information and restricted courses to check it is suitable for your degree progression at Macquarie University
- For the CEP program (in French), the student must have a certified level of French, either as vouched for by a language professor or through the attainment of a recognized language diploma such as the TCF, DELFE or TEF. For the International & Comparative Studies program (in English), the student is required to be proficient in English. If the student is not a native English speaker, they must have at least a B2 level of English (according to the Common European Reference for Languages) vouched for either by a language professor or through the attainment of a recognized language diploma such as the TOEIC, the TOEFL, the Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency, etc. Also, survival French is a minimum requirement for acceptance into this program
- Required number of years of full time study completed at Home Requirements SPT Institution -For both the CEP program and the International & (clause 3.1) Comparative Studies Program - two years. Academic requirements For both the CEP program and the International & Comparative Studies program -validation of 120 ECTS (or equivalent)

Application Fee and Payment Options: For all exchange programs (semester and short term), there is a compulsory application fee. For more information and payment options please refer to the Payment Website.
Insurance: It is a requirement of the exchange program that all students must purchase their own travel insurance to cover them for the duration of their entire journey overseas. More information will be given to students upon acceptance.
Program Costs: You remain enrolled at Macquarie University and continue to pay your tuition fees to Macquarie University. As an exchange student you pay no tuition fees to host university. However, you must also always be prepared for unexpected expenses, and should consider how you will be dealing with the expenses of your exchange before you leave your home country. Prior to departure, you will need to save sufficient funds to cover all of your expenses for the duration of your exchange. Some costs to consider include: airfares, students visa (if required), travel health insurance, accommodation, food, additional travel, entertainment, textbooks, incidental expense. If you wish to work while you are away, it is important to note that work rights for international students vary from country to country. For further information about your visa restrictions please contact the consulate or embassy of your host country.
