After your application to Macquarie University has been assessed and a decision made, you will receive a Letter of Offer by email.

The Letter of Offer contains instructions on how to accept your offer, information about Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) and Macquarie University's tuition fee refund policy. This information should be read thoroughly.

Types of offers

Full Offer

This provides you with a full offer, and allows entry for the stated intake of the course you are eligible for. No further conditions need to be satisfied.

Conditional Offer

This offer outlines the conditions that need to be met in order for you to be offered a place in your selected course. Once you have met the conditions, a full offer can be issued.

Package Offer

This offer requires you to complete an English language program or another preliminary program before commencing your course. You must accept the entire package by the deadline stated in the offer letter.

Unsuccessful application

You may be eligible to attend the Macquarie University International College (MUIC) as a pathway to a Macquarie University degree. If you are eligible for a foundation or diploma pathway program, you will be advised of this in your letter.
