Who you are
If you've completed the Higher School Certificate (HSC) or an International Baccalaureate (IB) and you've included Macquarie in your preferences, you may be eligible to receive additional points due to adjustment factors that can be added to your ATAR or equivalent admissions rank.
Combine adjustment factors
You can receive a maximum of 10 additional points combined across five schemes, excluding the following degrees:
- Bachelor of Laws and its double degrees;
- Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and its double degrees; and
- Bachelor of Advanced Science,
for which you can receive a maximum of 6 additional points; and
- Bachelor of Clinical Science
for which you can receive a maximum of 5 additional points.
The Bachelor of Actuarial Studies and its double degrees are only eligible for the Educational Access Scheme. No other adjustment factors points can be applied.

Elite Athletes and Artistic Performers
If competitive commitments have affected your studies, you may be eligible for four additional points or scholarships.
Big History Scheme
You may be eligible to earn three additional points by completing our Big History: Connecting Knowledge MOOC (Massive Open Online Course).
