Our Academic Entry Program recognises your performance in specific subjects that are relevant to our degrees.

Once you have submitted your Universities Admission Centre (UAC) application, we'll assess your HSC results against your Macquarie preferences and make an offer dependent on your performance in eligible subjects.

Eligibility

Eligible HSC subjects

Under the Academic Entry program we review your results in NSW HSC Board Developed Courses (Category A subjects only). The band you need to achieve in these subjects varies depending on which degree you want to study. Check the band requirements for your dream degree.

How to apply

There is no separate application for the Academic Entry Program. Simply apply through UAC and we will automatically check how your results relate to your highest eligible preference.

Courses

This program applies to all Macquarie undergraduate courses, except:

  • Bachelor of Actuarial Studies with Bachelor of Professional Practice (Honours) (Co-op)
  • Bachelor of Combined Studies
  • Standard Foundation Program.
