English preparation for direct entry into a degree

Course options
Direct Entry 10 (DE10) and Direct Entry 5 (DE5)
The Direct Entry program is available as a 10-week or five-week program, depending on your level of English. Your successful completion of DE10 or DE5 provides you with direct entry to your chosen degree, and prepares you for academic success. You will:
- develop academic language
- gain relevant academic skills for writing, researching and giving presentations
- learn about the ethical and effective use of generative AI
- develop skills for interacting with peers.

Intensive Speaking Preparation program
This two-week intensive speaking program is specially designed for students who have met their overall English language proficiency requirement for entry to university but have not met the speaking skill requirement for their chosen bachelor or master degree.
You will develop language and pronunciation skills for:
- presenting in English
- speaking about data
- participating in interactive lessons with peers.
You will be assessed on your speaking skills during the program and, on successful completion, you will gain direct entry to your university course.
