Athletes and performers

What is it?

The Elite Athletes and Artistic Performers (EAAP) Bonus Point Scheme is designed for applicants who believe that their performing, training and/or competitive commitments have affected their study preparation in the past two years. Macquarie University's Ranking Committee will consider the circumstances of the applicant and determine if they are eligible for four bonus points.

Approval under the EAAP scheme does not guarantee admission but allows you to be assessed as being 'elite' and whose competitive commitments have impeded study performance. Approval under this scheme does not guarantee a successful Sport Scholarship application.

You'll be notified by mail of the outcome of your application by the end of December.

All degrees are eligible for EAAP bonus points excluding the Bachelor of Actuarial Studies with Bachelor of Professional Practice.

Who you are

You are an athlete or artistic performer whose study performance has been affected within the last two years due to sporting or performance activities.

You're in Year 12 or a non-school applicant.

How you apply

Applications for 2018 entry are now closed.

Elite athletes

Applications for elite athletes will be assessed using the following seven criteria points. You have to meet at least one of the seven stated criteria to be assessed as an elite student athlete and be eligible for bonus points under this scheme providing that you also achieve the required ATAR.
