About the scholarship
To recognise the strong relationship between Macquarie University and its partner institutions, the Partner Institution Scholarship is awarded to high performing prospective students with a quest for knowledge. The competitive scholarship is valued up to AUD $15,000 per year for talented students who are currently studying at a partner institution and are transferring to study at Macquarie University (AUD $7,500 will be credited each session). For India and South Asia region students, the first payment of AUD $15,000 will be credited in the second session of their first year of enrolment, with AUD $7,500 credited in each subsequent session for the duration of the course.
Duration
This scholarship is valid for the full duration of the course.
Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be an international full fee-paying student.
- Be commencing full-time in an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree at Macquarie University in 2027 and beyond (excluding Graduate Certificates, Bachelor of Clinical Science, Bachelor of Psychological Sciences (Honours), Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Physiotherapy, Master of Clinical Audiology, Master of Clinical Psychology, Master of Clinical Neuropsychology, Master of Organisational Psychology, Master of Professional Psychology, Master of Speech and Language Pathology).
- Transfer from a Macquarie University partner institution.
- Achieve a minimum 65 WAM for postgraduate or a minimum 85 ATAR (or equivalent) for undergraduate applications.
- Must not have received a scholarship or sponsorship from Macquarie University or another organisation for the degree (unless stated otherwise by the Scholarship Committee).
- Commence study in the session and year indicated in your scholarship letter of offer.
- Please note: The annual number of scholarship recipients may vary according to the availability of funding and the number of eligible candidates and will only be confirmed when an offer letter is made.
