About the scholarship
The Macquarie University Dunmore Lang College Regional and Rural Scholarship was created in recognition of the initial and ongoing costs of relocating from regional and rural Australia to study at Macquarie University.
Duration
This scholarship applies for four years of undergraduate study, subject to ongoing eligibility criteria.
Criteria
In addition to the geographic requirements, successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:
- Financial need
- capacity to overcome adversity
- leadership qualities or potential
- commitment to community service and extra-curricular activities
- that they are an undergraduate domestic student at Macquarie, having not studied at university before (includes students who commenced at Macquarie in session 2 the previous year)
