Learn how to deliver the program to older adults

Ageing Wisely is a suite of psychological treatment programs that teach older adults living in the community cognitive behavioural therapy skills to manage anxiety and depression.

This program teaches older adults how to manage these feelings by learning to change the way they think, and the behaviours that maintain low mood and anxiety. It can be implemented by mental health professionals with individual clients, in small groups, or with brief support calls to support use of the online version or work-at-home workbook.

Ageing Wisely has:

  • been shown to significantly reduce both depression and anxiety
  • been shown to produce long lasting effects
  • been demonstrated to be effective in international trials
  • addressed a gap as the only manualised program available for addressing comorbid depression and anxiety in older adults.

Each client requires a workbook or login for the internet version to use during the program. Purchase our program materials online.
