MQACRC Travel Scheme 2017

Applications are invited for the ‘MQACRC ECR Travel Scheme 2017’. This scheme supports applicants whose research will benefit significantly from travel. The successful candidate will receive funding of $2500.

The funding must be expended before the end of 2017 and may be spent on any travel expenses related to the project being undertaken by the applicant.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must have graduated with a PhD from Macquarie University since 1 March 2014.
  • Applicants must be sponsored by a MQACRC member. Centre members may support more than one application.
  • Applicants must have discussed the proposed project with their sponsor before submission.
  • The successful candidate’s travel must be approved by the Head of Department of Ancient History and undertaken in accordance with the Macquarie University travel policy. Further instructions will be provided to the successful candidate.

Applications must include a description of the project and outcomes, a fully justified budget setting out how the funding will be expended, a quotation and itinerary for any travel costs from Campus Travel (Domestic airfares) STA (International airfares), and a quotation for any accommodation costs. Applications must be made on the template provided, and submitted by email to acrc@mq.edu.au by 5 pm on Friday March 31st. The selection will be made by a sub-committee of the MQACRC Executive, and the successful candidate will be announced by mid-April.
