Congratulations

Congratulations

  1. We congratulate Professor Daryll Hull, co-Director of the Centre for Workforce Futures, who has been named Faculty Adviser of the Year by Enactus Australia at their 2019 National Conference.

Enactus is a global student organisation, operating in 36 countries, whose mission is to enable ‘progress through entrepreneurial action’. Professor Hull said the award really belongs to the whole Enactus Macquarie University chapter. Enactus is a community of student, academic and business leaders committed to using the power of entrepreneurial action to transform lives and shape a better more sustainable world.

Professor Hull stressed that ‘The award is theirs as much as mine. It’s been a privilege and a pleasure to work with such a passionate and talented group of volunteers who are totally committed to their projects and to each other’.

  2. We congratulate Centre members Anna Krzeminska and Charmine Hartel and their PhD student, Nkosana Mafico for being awarded best paper in the ‘Business for Society’ Strategic Interest Group at the European Academy of Management (EURAM) 2019 Conference for the paper: ‘When Immigrants Become Social Entrepreneurs: Managing Organizational Tensions With Cross-Cultural Experience’.
  3. We also congratulate Dr Raymond Trau on commencing two new projects:
