- A vibrating blade microtome
- Sections fresh or fixed, animal or plant tissues
- Can produce Fresh tissue sections in order of 20um that permit enhanced optical resolution.
- The combined use of Vibratome sections and the Inverted Confocal Microscope system allows for imaging experiments to be performed with the high numerical aperture immersion objectives.
- The Vibratome facilitates experimental work where cellular visualisation is critical.
