Prof Takashige Omatsu gave a terrific talk to MQ Photonics on "A new twist of materials beyond helical structures". He is a regular visitor to Macquarie, working on vortex laser beams with Dr Andrew Lee and Prof Helen Pask. His talk on this current research on twisted light stimulated lots of discussion afterwards!
