While the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety has thrown a spotlight on residential and community aged care services, Dr Joyce Siette from the Australian Institute of Health Innovation questions how issues around the welling of older Australians can be effectively addressed.
Dr Siette, writing in Croakey, calls for quality of life measures to be used more broadly in the aged care sector and the results made publicly available.
