Professor Braithwaite elected as Fellow of Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences
Professor Jeffrey Braithwaite, Founding Director of the Australian Institute of Health Innovation at Macquarie University, has been elected as one of 49 new Fellows of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences (AAHMS) for his outstanding leadership and contributions to health and medical science in Australia.
Professor Braithwaite who was previously conferred as Fellow the Academy of Social Sciences in the United Kingdom in 2015 was honoured to be recognised by the Australian Academy.
“I am extremely pleased to be among such a prestigious list of Fellows of the Australian Academy of Health and Medical Sciences. This really is recognition of the team I am privileged to work with in the Institute. To have my passion for policy, governance, sustainability and leadership in the health sector rewarded, and that of my colleagues, is an honour," said Professor Braithwaite.
