Professor Braithwaite awarded the Peter Reizenstein Award
Prestigious International Society for Quality in Health Care award
The Peter Reizenstein Award for Best Paper Published in the International Journal for Quality in Health Care (IJQHC) in 2017 was awarded to Professor Jeffrey Braithwaite, Founding Director of the Australian Institute of Health Innovation at Macquarie.
The paper “Attitudes towards accreditation among hospital employees in Denmark: a cross-sectional survey” was selected through a rigorous nomination and voting process.
Professor Braithwaite accepted this award on behalf of co-authors Lars Holger Ehlers, Morten Berg Jensen, Katherina Beltoft Simonsen and Gitte Sand Rasmussen.
The award is named after Peter Reizenstein, International Society for Quality in Health Care’s (ISQua) first president and the founding editor of the International Journal for Quality in Health Care.
Professor Braithwaite is a leading international researcher in health services and systems researcher and is President-Elect of ISQua.
