Researchers at the Australian Institute of Health Innovation are pleased to announce the release of the publication: Qualitative Research in Healthcare – Modern Methods, Clear Translation: A White Paper.

Along with showcasing current research techniques and providing case studies, the White Paper also addresses the more challenging and controversial aspects of applying qualitative methods in healthcare settings.
Professor Rapport emphasises that the White Paper also has a practical emphasis, describing creative pathways to asking and answering questions and providing examples of research studies.
“We discuss how to ensure qualitative research is trustworthy, reliable and transferable across contexts”, Professor Rapport said.
Authors on the White paper were Professor Frances Rapport, Dr Anne Hogden, Dr Mona Faris, Mia Bierbaum, Dr Robyn Clay-Williams, Dr Janet C. Long, Dr Patti Shih, Rebecca Seah, and Professor Jeffrey Braithwaite from the Australian Institute of Health Innovation, Macquarie University.
