Artificial Intelligence team wins Best Paper at HCI2018
Measuring user experience in conversational interfaces.
Dr Baki Kocaballi accepted Best Paper at HCI2018 at the 32nd British HCI conference 2-6 July 2018 held in Belfast, Northern Ireland on behalf of co-authors Dr Laranjo and Professor Enrico Coiera.
The paper deals with user experience (UX) in the evaluation of interactive systems. According to ISO (2010), user experience is a “person's perceptions and responses resulting from the use and/or anticipated use of a product, system or service”.
The study reviewed the six main questionnaires for evaluating conversational systems in order to assess the potential suitability of these questionnaires to measure various UX dimensions.
Dr Kocaballi is part of the Centre for Health Informatics’ Artificial Intelligence (AI) research stream along with Dr Liliana Laranjo and which is directed by Professor Enrico Coiera.
