AIHI award winners at HIC2018

Associate Professor Melissa Baysari received the Branko Cesnik Award for Best Academic and Scientific Paper announced at the Australian Health Informatics Conference (HIC) in Sydney in Aug 2018. Melissa’s paper is Usability of Reports Generated by a Computerised Dose Prediction Software. Two of the other finalists were AIHI’s Dr Ling Li and Dr Valentina Lichtner.

Dr Terry Hannan, a Visiting Fellow with the Centre for Health Informatics at AIHI, took out the Jon Hilton Award for excellence in primary care informatics. Dr Hannan is also a Consultant Physician and Clinical Associate Professor School of Human Health Sciences, University of Tasmania.

HIC is an opportunity for the digital health community to get together on an annual basis to share research, case studies, trends and technology advances. HIC is run by HISA Australia.
