APAF's mission is to assist the scientific community address their protein analysis needs.

The Australian Proteome Analysis Facility (APAF) is a service and research facility which is part of the Macquarie Analytical and Fabrication Facility (MAFF) within Macquarie University.

The APAF team is here to provide support through service work, collaborative projects, expert advice on all aspects of proteomics, and training on our instrumentation available for access.

For more than 20 years we have been providing service work and research support across industry, academia and government organisations, servicing hundreds of clients annually in the biomedical, life sciences, environmental, food and agriculture sectors.

APAF is supported by Bioplatforms Australia through funding from the Australian Government National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS), and is proudly accredited by the National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) in compliance with ISO/IEC 17025 (Accreditation No. 20344 Entity Scope (nata.com.au))
