PURSUING NATA ACCREDITATION

APAF is currently establishing a quality management system in preparation for assessment against the international standard ISO/IEC 17025 under the world recognised NATA Research and Development accreditation program. The recognition of performance to an international quality benchmark will give APAF a greater competitive edge and client confidence. “This will offer great opportunities to interact with our commercial clients, especially in the areas of biopharma and food“ says Protein Chemistry Lead Scientist Bernie McInerney.  Our effort in this area is being led by our Quality Systems Officer, Anita Stone, who has a background in quality management systems working in NATA accredited chemical testing facilities for over 15 years.
