Mexican CONACYT-Macquarie University Postgraduate Research Scholarships
Macquarie University has partnered with CONACYT (The National Council for Science and Technology of the United Mexican States) to promote the access of Mexican students to postgraduate studies at Macquarie University.
Scholarships are offered for up to 10 Mexican students accepted and enrolled in a research degree: Master of Research (MRes) or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
Scholarships cover tuition fees, a stipend and annual support of health cover.
How to Apply
- Candidates must first apply to Macquarie University for admission and scholarship. For details on how to submit an application please go to the HDR application page. Please specify ‘CONACYT-MQ PG Research scholarship’ on the Scholarship Details requirement.
- Applications will be assessed at Macquarie University. Approximately 8 weeks after application provisional outcome letters are provided.
- If successful for provisional admission and scholarship to Macquarie University, applicants then need to apply to CONACYT on their website.Calls are open from approximately April – July each year, but please check the details on this website. If you have any questions on the CONACYT process, please contact the delegates listed below for CONACYT or Macquarie International.
- Selected candidates will then be given full offers of admission and scholarship for the relevant higher degree research program
