Hills Outreach
Young people want to give back – but most don't know where to start. Volunteering often feels intimidating, inconvenient, or out of reach for those aged 16–25, especially outside of school settings.
At the same time, many local nonprofits lack youth engagement or long-term support from younger volunteers. Hills Outreach turns youth energy into real-world impact by coordinating local volunteering, designing student-led service projects, and partnering with councils and nonprofits across Western Sydney.
Since launching in February 2025, we've raised $2,874 for the Cancer Council through Relay for Life, led BBQs and school outreach with Castle Hill Rotary and Crestwood Lions, and recruited more than 30 volunteers while building active ties with Hills Community Aid, and local schools.
Our vision is to create a recognised youth-run hub for community action – where leadership, service, and social change start young.
