Atomic Oncology
Why are some cancers curable with radiotherapy (small cell lung Ca), and others not (brain Ca)? Why is there such a variation between patients (same cancer) in their response to radiotherapy making cancer very difficult to treat while keeping the patient safe?
Atomic Oncology’s recent study, on a predictive biomarker of radio-resistance and overall survival in a standardised cohort of glioblastoma, has provided very encouraging results which will soon be submitted for publication in the scientific literature.
Atomic Oncology’'s technology will provide oncologists with the knowledge to predict whether radiotherapy will be successful for any solid cancer and in turn give them the information they need to deliver precision radiotherapy treatment to patients in a way that has hitherto not been possible.
